A coast to coast network of local law firms offering Will writing services to supporters of Canadian charities.

What is the Network?

The Canadian Free Wills Network comprises charities ranging from household names to those with a strong regional or local focus. The purpose of the Network is to offer free Will writing services to the charities’ known supporters.

The Canadian Free Wills Network is a paid-for Wills program whereby the charities pay for the Wills to be written. The Network’s operation is straight forward.

Benefits for Charities

The Canadian Free Wills Network is a unique service like no other in Canada, targeted to reach your warmest legacy supporters. As a dedicated fundraiser, you will appreciate an astounding statistic. We know that the ‘natural’ occurrence of leaving gifts in Wills in Canada is about 7%. But if they are prompted to consider a legacy at the crucial moment – when they’re writing their Will – that proportion multiplies up to sevenfold.

Benefits for Lawyers

The Canadian Free Wills Network represents a valuable client acquisition opportunity which provides a steady stream of charity referrals. In addition to the fees paid by the charity, any additional work carried out above and beyond a simple Will can be charged to the client.
